Welcoming our "newest" WA Council

The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup
The 1st July 2008 saw the merger of the Shires of Tambellup and Broomehill. The Councils had previously utilised a shared service arrangement which saw both Council's SynergySoft systems being hosted at the Broomehill office. A common chart of accounts allowed them to easily share staff.

IT Vision has been working with the Councils in a combined project to merge their data. We’d like to thank the staff for their effort at this busy time.

The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is located approximately 3 hours South-East of Perth and an hour and a half north of Albany. The region is predominantly a sheep and grain producing area with a growing interest in aquaculture, viticulture and horticulture. The Shire has a population of 1,184 people and area of around 2,813 square kilometres.
