Customer Account Manager

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Working closely with customers to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrade pathways to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Acting as the main interface between your customers and our organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seeking the opportunity to participate in customers strategic business planning processes.
  • Formulating, implementing, and managing Account Management plans to achieve customer satisfaction, retention and revenue targets.
  • Conducting relevant product demonstrations (where applicable) and preparing quotes, proposals, tenders/bids, contracts, and Account Management plans.
  • Attendance at relevant industry conferences, tradeshows, and user-group meetings in addition to regular and ongoing customer visits throughout Western Australia.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Account Management and Sales ability including excellent communication skills.
  • Specific experience within a software solution organisation with a track record of successfully delivering both simple as well as complex software solutions to customers with high levels of project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Appreciation of the value/importance of strong customer relationships with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the customer.
  • The ability to be able to articulate the organisations strategic product roadmap, to align this with customer needs and upgrade pathway, and provide presentations and demonstrations of relevant products as required.
  • Obsessively strong time management, record keeping and task management skills.
  • Ideally knowledge of the Local Government industry market and landscape.

Implementation Consultant - Rates

Full time

Perth - Fremantle & Southern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implement applications for customer in accordance with Professional Services and Project Management framework and methodologies.
  • Conduct individual and group training workshops, onsite and online as required
  • Conduct individual and group product demonstrations
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities such as scope, technical and effort requirements for quoting and tender responses
  • Travel in accordance with project and training requirements
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implementations and the industry, ensuring that you stay up to date with legislative requirements, systems and tools across all customer regions
  • Create and maintain product and customer documentation (i.e. user guides, user reports & stationery).

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Local Government Finance and/or rating role
  • Demonstrated experience using IT Vision's product suite (SynergySoft and Altus) or similar ERP
  • Understanding of Local Government Act and associated Regulations (WA, QLD, NSW, VIC)
  • Demonstrated experience in training and public speaking
  • Ability to travel to customer sites

  • Implement applications for customers in accordance with Professional Services and Project Management framework and methodologies.
  • Conduct individual and group training workshops, onsite and online as required
  • Configuration of award engine in accordance with Local Government requirements
  • Assist with Customer Support requests in accordance with SLA requirements
  • Conduct individual and group product demonstrations
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities such as scope, technical and effort requirements for quoting and tender responses
  • Travel in accordance with project and training requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong background in payroll processing
  • Demonstrated experience with payroll legislation, leave practices, and award interpretation
  • Demonstrated experience training and public speaking
  • Ability to travel to customer sites
  • A self-starter who can manage numerous, complex projects requiring high-level capabilities, with minimal direction and supervision
