A message from the CEO regarding COVID-19

Published: Tuesday, 17 March 2020 at 4:43:36 PM

Our priority at IT Vision has always been to support those that serve the community and society in which we live.

In meeting this priority we are focused on ensuring the health and safety of our staff, our customers, our partners and the broader community.

As such I would like you to understand the measures we are taking in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and our actions to assist in containing the potential spread and minimising associated risks.

Until further notice, IT Vision is taking the following proactive containment steps.

Meetings
We are proactively reformatting or rescheduling face-to-face meetings. This includes account management, demonstrations, training and other general meetings. To the greatest extent possible we will reformat these meetings to be conducted by the best available remote electronic means such as teleconference, video conference, Microsoft Teams or alike. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the availability of these alternative methods of continuing to meet and progress critical business plans.

Travel
We have proactively suspended all non-essential aeroplane travel both domestically and internationally. This provides us with the best opportunity of avoiding higher risk environments that enable us to contain any potential spread of the virus and minimise risk to those we come into contact with. To the greatest extent possible we will work to substitute the requirement for travel with the best available remote electronic means such as teleconference, video conference, Microsoft Teams or alike. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the availability of these alternative methods of continuing to meet and progress critical business plans.

Offices
We are preparing for the potential proactive closure of our offices in all locations and to implement alternative staff working arrangements. As a modern information technology company we are well equipped and prepared to provide full continuity of service with a flexible, geographically dispersed workforce.

Keeping each other up-to-date
We undertake to proactively keep you up-to-date with any variation or change to these arrangements. We also understand that you are equally effected and request that you do the same and continue to keep us up-to-date with any disruption to your own operations and actions you are taking to mitigate any exposure and risk. Sharing this information will be through our normal channels of communication unless you specifically request an alternative.

Keeping each other safe
We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience over this time. We are monitoring the situation carefully and will continue to follow the official guidance supplied by the relevant Australian Government agencies and the World Health Organisation. We believe it is important to work together to take the necessary steps to contain any risk to staff, customers, family, community and to keep each other safe.

We will continue to provide further updates and guidance as required.
